Latest Launch: Botanica Land Care

The best brands strive to innovate, not just for their own benefit but to help push their entire industry forward. That’s exactly what this ecological landscape service aims to do.

Known for creating organic edible gardens across Southern New England, Botanica Fine Gardens approached us as they approached a pivotal point in their business. They needed to redefine the brand to align with their expanded offerings. They were no longer focusing solely on fine gardening, but evolving into a full-service ecological land care provider, specializing in organic, edible gardens, meadows, and other environmentally-friendly landscape services.

The challenge of this project was to rename the business and clarify its positioning strategy to differentiate from other edible garden and organic landscape providers. We discovered that their clientele were discerning professionals who put a high priority on the aesthetics of their outdoor space and wanted a concierge-like customer service experience. Our solution revolved around Botanica’s expert guidance, care, and attention to each detail of the homeowner’s landscape and lifestyle.

From Botanica Fine Gardens, Botanica Land Care was born; a slight evolution of the brand name that authentically and concisely says everything about the work and philosophy behind the Botanica team. Whether discussing soil health, pollinator gardens or meadows, Botanica’s team is always considering the symbiotic relationship between garden, landscape, and lifestyle and approaching all facets of the project with sincere care and expert attention.

The process started with an in-person brand workshop, gathering information and insight from the ecological land care experts themselves. We developed an in-depth brand strategy and messaging, refined the brand voice to position Botanica as an expert in the field, and then brought it all to life with a visual brand identity rooted in earthy color palette and refined typography and illustrations. These disparate elements were combined and formalized in a hardcover Brand Guide book that the clients can keep and use as a reference for years to come.

We designed and developed a modern website with eloquent copywriting by Adrienne Dyer and stunning photography by Rosemary Fletcher Photography. The new website was grounded in Botanica’s mission of cultivating a connection between people to their natural environment.

The overall result was a brand presence that is elevated, sophisticated and clearly positions the company as the ideal solution for discerning homeowners who value environmental sustainability, aesthetics, and professionalism. The brand is designed to serve the growth of the business for years to come, and establish their legacy as your landscape’s expert caregivers.

When I began my business in 2013 and had my first website built, I really didn’t know all the different avenues and chapters of where my business would go. But now, nearly a decade later, as I approached my 10-year anniversary of my business, I knew I wanted to do a re-fresh, to showcase where we are today. My company had grown in so many ways and so had I. I’m thrilled that I was introduced to Victoria and her company. Victoria and her team were terrific in capturing all the nuances of the work that I am doing today. Her thoroughness, professionalism and creativity brought my website to a whole new level. I highly recommend Victoria & Co. I invite you to go to my website and see her great work for yourself. Thank you Victoria!
