Latest Launch: Liz Brunner
Last September we were first approached by a mutual colleague to prepare a proposal for a website redesign for Emmy award-winning newscaster-turned-multihyphenate (executive coach, keynote speaker, award-winning author, and podcast host), Liz Brunner.
If you live around the Boston area, you may recognize her from her long career as a news anchor for NewsCenter 5. Since 2013 she’s built a highly respected executive communications firm, offering her signature communication workshops and coaching to business executives, public personalities, and community leaders around the country.
She was looking for a modern and elevated website with an improved user experience that authentically represented her highly-sought after brand. An exciting undertaking, the website would need to represent her 10+ years of self-charted work and 35+ years of experience, plus over 100 podcast episodes, blog posts, client reviews, and more.
In the spirit of the new year, we reviewed Liz’s visual brand identity, offering suggestions where invited and recommendations where necessary in order to align the look and feel of the new website with her vision for the future of the brand. It quickly became clear that there was much more to the original site that we would either need to condense or find a way to outsource to more than just a single designer. With teamwork, the entire Victoria & Co. team was able to migrate and create a custom build highlighting Liz’s commitment to helping others, her passion for her work and a fresh new page for whatever next chapter she writes for herself.
A month later, Liz’s website analytics proved that the decision to refresh her digital presence was the right move; total page visits increased by 364%, unique visit increased by 481% and her bounce reduced by 84%. Through this work, we were able to showcase core offerings alongside passion projects, improving her searchability, specifically for her podcast and her keynote-speaking areas of expertise.
