The Client

Lacson Ravello is an Oakland, CA-based women’s clothing brand. They prioritize timeless style made for real women. Each style is cut from responsibly-sourced or environmentally-friendly fabrics and trims—natural fibers, sustainable materials, or deadstock (leftover fabric from mills and manufacturers). Their pieces are then ethically made in locally-owned factories in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The Challenge

Migrating from an outdated Wordpress/Woo-Commerce platform, founder Kristina, wanted to present a modernized digital presence to further establish her brand with mindful customers. In addition, the platform had to streamline her internal operations and make it easy for her small team to maintain products and content. We worked within her existing brand guidelines and used a Shopify theme as the foundation, but needed to put her own custom spin on it.

The Results

From the get-go, this project provided value. During our strategy phase, we offered a revised mission statement which the client loved so much that she adopted it is their new mission.
